For my Senior Capstone Project, I chose to work with a friend to create a queer magazine. I was the designer for the entire magazine and she was the primary writer for all the articles. As queer students, we wanted to create something that the young queer people in our area can relate to with relevant topics. The title of the magazine is a reclamation of the word "lavender", which was previously used as a derogatory term towards queer people. Some of the topics included are Gender Fluidity and Fashion, the state of Queer Film, the importance of Queer Music and the TikTok to Queer Pipeline. Along with some of the spreads, there is a social media carousel post.
